Enhanced Deletion Capability in Sales Cloud for Accounts & Contacts
We are introducing an upcoming enhancement in the Sales Cloud, to provide better capability to delete accounts, contacts, and households effortlessly from both REST and the CX-Sales UI.
What do we have today?
Currently, when a sales account is deleted, it leads to the inactivation of the underlying party, profile, sales usages, and any associated relationships. This, in turn, can result in the loss of account references in the AR/Billing, supplier, and partner UIs.
For example, consider an account having both Sales and Billing usages. If this account is deleted from the Sales UI, it would also delete the corresponding Billing Account record.
