Scheduled BIP Report not Working post update to Recipients list

Summary: A BIP report Scheduled to run once a week, made changes to the recipients list and observed the changes were not reflected in the next run, means recipient's list remain with the previous recipient list. Workaround what was worked is to delete the earlier scheduled report and schedule again with the changes and seen the changes are working. Any one has this experience or noticed this kind of behavior and how this was managed or any sort of solution etc.
