Can you customise the search bar on the Splash page?

There is new functionality that now allows us to customise the look and feel of the search bar on the search results page. You can change the size, border, file, corner radius etc so it can look something like this:

However, on the splash page, the options to customise this bar are very limited, is there a way to customise this? It needs to be a consistent design.
