Object Defaulting Rule written on Asg Payroll not working on every tab out from employment section

Summary:

We have written an object defaulting rule on Assigned Payroll business object. The purpose of the rule is to default Payroll definition based on certain combinations of legal entity and Person Type. The rule works as expected for a new transaction (like Hire an employee/Add pending worker/Global Transfer). But in the same transaction after my payroll definition has defaulted , If I go back to employment details section and lets say I change the person type to a different value and then tab out to Payroll details section , payroll definition does not update as expected.
