REST API Transfer Order creation error scenarios

We are trying to create Transfer Order using the REST API. There is a delay in when the Transfer Order is created as either a Business Event is triggered or a ESS job has to be triggered.

If ProcessRequestFlag = Y in the request payload, then the business event is triggered in ERP

If ProcessRequestFlag = N in the request payload then we have to manually submit Process Supply Chain Orchestration Interface ESS job.

What are the chances that the REST API successfully creates the Transfer Order header but this Business Event/ESS job fails and in return fails to create a transfer order?
