Formula to prevent deletion of annual absences with Approved status in the system.

I prepared a validation formula so that absences with "Approved "status cannot be updated or deleted in the system. The formula for updating is running and an error message is returned, I can delete.But I couldn't prevent the deletion. How can I prevent this?

Has anyone needed this before?How should I work to prevent the delete operation?
