Summary:

Does Collaboration Messaging Framework (to Oracle Business Network/OBN for spending electronic Purchase Orders) get restricted by Location based Access Controls (LBAC)? If so, what is the Oracle recommend configuration for Fusion environments that require LBAC but also OBN integration?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

When configuring OBN you have to provide user name and password credentials for both Oracle Fusion and OBN. The Fusion credentials has to have the "Trading Partner B2B Administrator" role assigned to enabled inbound messaging from OBN. But if you have LBAC enabled with an IP ACL, the inbound OBN connections are not successful. You can exempt the whole role from LBAC - but is that the recommended configuration?

Howdy, Stranger!
