Summary:

We are unable to connect to the salesforce site due to a hard limit of 120s timeout for one of our CPQ Commerce Processes.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

  • We are trying to install CPQ Managed Package version 8.6 in our SalesForce setup but are unable to connect to one of our CPQ Commerce Processes (Configured as a site in salesforce) - Error: Read timed out.
  • We did raise an SR and were told that this is a known issue as per Doc ID - 2944523.1 - https://support.oracle.com/cloud/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2944523.1
  • Apparently, this is caused due to the large size of Commerce Process and the workaround is to clone the commerce process (which is not viable in our production setup).
