A child process of 'Update Project Performance Data' (Maintain Project Performance Data: Maintain Oracle Essbase Cube) Errored.

I was able to complete UPPD process after completion of Maintain Project Performance data. Can we run the process in PROD. Is there any limitation

I have got the following Doc ID 2227398.1 where suggesting to remove special characters.

Which option do we need to follow please suggest. Updating project task by removing special characters is very difficult in our process as we are using different special characters ( '–', '"') in project name and task name.
