Transition of Employee to Worker REST API

As per oracle , support for Employee REST API is discontinued in update 23D and we must use Worker REST API. Below is the URL of the release note.

But we are still able to use the Employee REST API without any issue and would like to know if there is any date on which the API will be discontinued. Can someone please confirm on the same if there is any update?
