how to implement forgot username functionality using idcs/iam rest api similar to forgotpassword

like forgotpassword rest api we need to achieve functionality for forgot username.

when we invoke forgotpassword rest api then it send email to user.

if we user user rest api to search user related to email then how email can be sent to user using idcs
