Using a negative operator on a date field in a segment generates incorrect results

edited May 8, 2024 4:52PM in Eloqua 2 comments

We are trying to build a segment that captures contacts who have not logged into our system in the past X days. We have a date field on every contact with a last logged in date.

If I set the Compare Contacts to Last Login Date Within the Last 30 days, the data is correct - but when I click the 'Not' - it breaks and contacts who logged in today, yesterday, etc. are being included.

As an alterative - because I can get has logged in within past 30 days - I tried to set that as it's own Filter Criteria on the segment and switch it to Exclude. That also doesn't work. Those contacts with log in dates today - are still being included.

Howdy, Stranger!
