Compare properties that use transform logic

Are there any plans to improve the compare functionality to allow compares to be ran on properties that are transformed from source to target? It was confirmed last year this is a known and documented limitation on the compare due to product limitation however we are looking to understand if there is any update in regard to improving this functionality to support the automatic comparison of properties that are transformed between viewpoints.
