Example of NEXT_DAY(d, expr) for Seniority Dates (Fast Formula - Rounding Rules - Derived Factors)
Hello all
How would we use the expression NEXT_DAY(d, expr) in order to capture the following Sunday for a seniority date.
Use Case:
For a Length of Service Derived Factor, we have configured a simple rule which gets the employee's enterprise seniority date.
The seniority date is calculated via a formula which looks at a DFF, and if there is nothing in the DFF it gets the employee's hire date.
For the Derived Factor, we would like to round the seniority date to the next Sunday
For example, if an employee's seniority date was 03/06/2024, it would give the date 09/06/2024 as this is the next Sunday.
