Groovy code on Business Object Data Security Rules

Summary:

I can hardcode a value in a BO Data Security Rule condition & it works fine. However, when i try to use an expression in the rule (i.e. Groovy), although i can select the fields of the BO and add them to the Groovy script, it doesn't recognize these fields, and flags them as in error. As well as just the field name, i tried to use Functions / Object / Get Attribute, but no joy either. I saw some entries in myOracleSupport (2989451.1 and 2756727.1) that seem to indicate
