CIP asset remains at zero cost after capitalization why?

I am currently facing an issue with manually created Construction in Progress (CIP) assets. Initially, when I create the CIP asset, its cost is automatically set to zero, which is the standard behavior. The problem arises after I capitalize the asset; despite completing the capitalization process, the asset still does not show any cost.
