Is it possible to use the Worker LOV as the value set for a flexfield?

We are trying to add a flexfield into the Job Offer process that allows the Recruiter to add a Referrer name to the Job Offer so that it can extracted and used in a Referral Report. (e.g. in Additional Offer Info, there would be a drop down list that lets the recruiter select the name of an existing employee that referred the new hire, we would then run a report which included applying all policies for use by an external payroll solution).
