Email report with select properties

How do we email out /notify a select group of users from EDM directly with only few specific properties when a new request is created ? .The current notification does not display any details of the request unless we login into the application and view the request details. Is there any enhancement planned in the roadmap wherein we could customize this notification to contain the desired properties of the request. Alternatively, is there a way to email out the extract from EDM to a select group of people?
