Separating Time Card Retroactive Events from Salary Changes

Summary:

We have a requirement from a third-party vendor to separately report Retroactive Salary Changes and Time Card Retroactive Changes. One of the difficult things we're running into is that the salary change retroactive action uses the same shadow element as a time card retroactive correction.

Has anyone come across this requirement before and were able to find a way to separate the two?

For example:

An hourly employee submits a time card for 76 "Regular Hours" and the hours are paid.

In the next pay period, the employee retroactively adds 4 more "Regular Hours" in their time card. These hours will come across as "Regular Hours Retro Earings Results" brought into the current pay period from "Recalculate Payroll for Retroactive Changes" and paid by "Calculate Payroll".

Howdy, Stranger!
