Will the backend tables and columns change if I Migrate custom objects from one instance to another?

Summary:

We created 28 custom objects in one instance and generated some reports from those Custom objects . We used one instance from CRP testing .

Now, we want to ensure that the queries used in the reports do not get changed and hence we are thinking to migrate the custom objects from CRP instance to SIT instance.

Does the backend tables and columns change if I Migrate(import) custom objects from one instance to another?
