how to create locator and update locator dff using rest api at the same time

Good Day.

We are having a situation where in our requirement is to create locators and and at the same time we need to update locator dff. Locator DFF is mandatory field. Hence during the time of creation only we have to update the locator dff segment.

Above configuration we would like to execute using REST api for bulk records.

Can someone please share your inputs.
