Unable to approve a task using REST API

Summary:

We are trying to approve a bpm task using the "/bpm/api/4.0/tasks" REST API, but the API does not perform any action on the task instead it shows the response of GET operation even when we perform the PUT operation.

We have tried the WITHDRAW action too and it was also not working.

Can you please guide if we are missing something here.
