Unable to edit termination in responsive UI after implementing autocomplete rules for final close

Hi There,
We have recently implemented 22D feature- AutoComplete rules for final close on termination+90 days.
However, after implementing, we are unable to edit Termination date in responsive UI.
We understand its a limitation to autocomplete rule that if termination date is changed, the final close dated will reset to 4712. However We are unable to even edit the termination dates and gets following error:
The only way-out is for autocomplete rule to stand true and change the termination date is reverse the termination and re-enter new termination dates. But thing here is that not all HRs have access to reverse termination button.
