Hi, I am used to deploy Essbase 21 Independent Deployment and Marketplace version, and I am seeking best practices for the following points. I already searched Oracle Support for guidance.

  • 2 logs directories are currently available, /u01/config/domains/essbase_domain/servers/essbase_server1/logs (Essbase) and /u01/config/domains/essbase_domain/servers/AdminServer/logs (Weblogic). What would be your recommandations in terms of log rotation (files, frequency, retention) and tool to use (as far as I can see logrotate is installed in OCI VM as a default which is great). Any recommandation for WIndows ?
  • As specified in Essbase 21 documentation, /tmp and /ui/tmp can be cleaned without issue
