Multi Select field in UI returning Lookup Code in OTBI

Summary:

We have this field in Sales UI having an FCL multi select in Division custom field. We have tried to add DESCRIPTOR_IDOF in this field however it is showing blank once we used this formula in a multi selected record, it works fine for records having 1 selection. Is there a way or a formula to used in this kind of scenario? We don’t want to use replace as the value will become static and may cause performance issue.


Lastly, if we have used this to default a prompt based on a user logged on and its Division it is not working as expected. As the value for Multi Selected keeps on having "CEN, WED" instead of a separated value of "Central", "Western".
