Pipeline invoked through Business rule REST API not sending emails on completion

Summary:

we have a business rule which is invoking pipeline through REST API call. The rule works as expected and the pipeline is invoked. Everything works as expected however the pipeline is not sending emails on completion.

If we just run the pipeline the email functionality works.

Let us know if we need to do anything specific in rest call for pipeline for emails on completion to work. we are having the rest parameters to always send out the email in the Business rule.
