Creating/Implementing automated due date alerts for just some courses in Learn

Summary:

Here's our situation, and many thanks for any guidance…

  • We have thousands of courses, hundreds with "Required" initiatives in place.
  • We have a need to implement automated "coming due" reminder alerts for a dozen of the courses being required.
  • We don't have the staff bandwidth to manually go in through Learning Assignments and trigger alerts, they need to be automated.

QUESTION: Is it possible to create/put into place an automated alert for a "coming due" reminder just for the 12 courses or must such an alert be turned on at the system level for all assignments?
