Background check Actions on CSP

Please provide guidance on the best practice for adding a background check state to a CSP.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

I have added the 'Background Check' state to one of my phases in the CSP, I have not added any conditions, as they are not really required.

I then added the Action 'Initiate Background Check' but I was wondering if I should add any additional actions, for example 'Send Notification', this notification will trigger a message to the Recruiter when a candidate moves into this state.

How does the Recruiter know when the 3rd party supplier has sent the results back, or does the Recruiter need to go check to see if there are available?
