Is high number of fixed assets source lines impacting the performance of depreciation run?

Summary:

Due to specific business process flows we are planning to deploy a solution when assets may have thousands of source lines.
I would like you to check if huge number of fixed assets source lines have any impact on the duration of depreciation run.
As example we may have on monthly basis around 200 assets with 50 K (50 thousands) source lines for each asset.

Note: FA module is already live but we need to bring additional business flow currently managed outside Fusion ERP and we have in asset book more that 5 million assets,
