    • Can't attach boot volume when instance is running

    Dear cloud gurus,

    I met a weird problem for one of my instances. Last week I tried to replace a boot volume as usually did, and the new boot volume with new Oracle Linux image was deployed successfully, but failed to restart, the instance was in Stopped state. No matter I clicked Start/Stop/Reboot, it always told me 'the instance is under modification'. One day later, the state changed to Running, but can't be reached by SSH. I tried to reboot, and this time it said 'Operation cannot be performed. Boot volume is not currently attached to the instance.' Then I found the boot
