OIC3 Post Upgrade: Difference between OAuth and Basic Authentication

Summary:

Hi All,

We are trying to test the integrations in OIC3 post upgrade which having REST calls with Basic authentications in Gen2 .

As per the Oracle , Post Upgrade ,We have changed REST Invoker connections with OAuth and trying to test .

1)When we are using OAuth Invoke REST connection to call Factory REST APIs(OIC APIs),able to get the response .

2)When we using OAuth Invoke REST connection to call Custom APIs ,we are getting below error .

"HTTP protocol violation: Authentication challenge without WWW-Authenticate header"

But it is working when we are using Basic Authentication.

So In step 1 , It is working with OAuth not Basic . Getting highlighted error.

Howdy, Stranger!
