Task Creation via an object workflow - Sales Cloud

Summary:

Hello,
I have created an object workflow to automatically create a task when the status of an account is changed.
In task configuration we don't have the option to choose who the creator of the task would be.
We have observed that the creator is not a system user and we can not understand the pattern that the Sales Cloud uses.
Sometimes is the owner of the account that is selected but some other times is another user that seems to be irrelevant with the account.
Please advice.
