On-Demand Rules - Copying Entity Input, Parent Input, and Contribution Input

Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on an On-Demand Rule in Oracle EPM Cloud FCCS and was wondering if anyone can confirm whether this type of rule can only read and write values for Entity Input – and not for Parent Input and Contribution Input.

Background:
We’re looking for a way to allow our power users to copy a specific period’s closing data to a separate scenario (e.g., Actual_Freeze) so they can track changes more easily and effectively.

The Copy Data function, which could theoretically serve this purpose, is unfortunately only available to administrators. This restriction means that our power users don’t have direct access to this functionality to copy data between scenarios. Utilizing an On-Demand Rule would be an ideal alternative, provided we can process the data as needed.
