When a qualification area is amended how to ensure the qualifications in process are not disturbed.

Summary:

When a qualification questionnaire/area is being changed, for e,g it could be a change in the question, scoring type (Manual/Automatic), scoring weightage. This creates a new revision of the qualification area. When this is done the Initiatives and the resulting qualifications that were in process run into several issues. Some get stuck in "Draft" status, some are in "Acceptance in Progress"…etc.. So how do we make the necessary changes to the qualification areas or questions without disturbing the Initiatives/Qualifications currently in process.
