Issues (bugs?) with new Forms Format/Validation Rules feature, PBCS

I have been trying to use the new Format/Validation Rules feature in Forms (in QA) but there appears to be a number of bugs\issues with it. Has anyone else been using it, and has anyone had the same issues as me, or found it to work OK? Here is what I am noticing:

• With the new Format/Validation Rules feature, "Show Separator" no longer works at all. Selecting "Show Separator" on either rows or columns has no effect whatsoever.
  
• I set up about 30 forms with formatting, at this stage just borders and bold font format. The next day, roughly 50% of the formats had vanished. I fixed them all, and the same thing happened overnight the next day. The Format/Validation Rules are still there, still showing green under "Edit", but no formatting was selected. I have pasted a GIF below demonstrating what it looked like this morning opening a form where all the formatting had vanished overnight. As you can see from the video, the "rules" are still set up.
