Total earnings inaccurate based on positions in Gross Earnings Report
I created an OTBI report include employees' 'Name', 'Position' and 'Gross earnings'. For prompt of time range, I use 'Pay period start date' and 'Pay period end date'. After pull the YTD data, the earnings total was incorrect in different position.
We usually transfer employee on the first day of the pay period. For example: Micheal transfer to new position on 15/09/2023, which is the first day of pay 20.
As result, every earnings since PP20 should be added under his new position, but in our result, the new position earnings also include PP19, every employee has multiple positions have this issue. I check the pay slip, and their position is correct on it.
