When we create Budget Journals through EPM Data Management, the ERP system is not preventing posting to a closed period.

However, if we use the new spreadsheet, it doesn't show closed periods in the list of values (LoV). If we use the old spreadsheet, the system correctly throws an error indicating the period is closed.

Please help us understand why the system allows posting data to a closed period in the first case. Let me know if you need any additional information.
