How can I cater a scenario of stock on loan received from third party ?

Dear Community

I want some suggestions that how can I cater the scenario of stock on loan received from third party ? and then returning it also after a certain period of time. I first thought of doing it through PO receipt and return but the lot number is making it difficult as the received lot would be consumed and at the time of return the lot would not exist.
