Updating Asset Categories with Missing DFF

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have encountered an issue where all asset categories are configured within the system (Setup: Manage Asset Categories), but a previously created Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) is missing from these categories. I need to update the categories to include this DFF.

Is there a method to update these categories automatically using a spreadsheet or similar tool? Alternatively, will I be required to update each category individually?
