    backdated promotions issue

    Summary:

    In our client's setup, promotion dates are often backdated, such as 01-Jul-2024. For example, if an employee has a location transaction effective on 01-Oct-2024, I would like to push the promotion transaction from the Compensation module to HR with an effective date of 01-Jul-2024.

    Is it possible for the Compensation module to handle this? Additionally, if there is a way to achieve this, will the application automatically update the grade as part of the location transaction on 01-Oct-2024?
