    Summary:

    Hi Team,

    We have a requirement in EDM that few custom properties can only be assigned to base nodes.

    We have written a validation such that if user tries to update the custom properties at parent level (Bottom Node = False), the the validation will trigger.

    We have selected those custom properties as the Trigger properties for the validation. The validation seems to be working fine for existing nodes, but however when a user tries to add a new node, even if it is a bottom node, the validation is getting fired.

    Application type in EDM EPCMCS and the all the custom properties are list.
