Job Requisition Approval AOR

We currently have approval configured to assign one level of approval to an AOR based on hiring managers representative (the only options in transaction console approval setup are to assign based on Recruiter or Hiring Managers representatives. The AOR is defined in a way the each representative covers a portion of an organization tree. This creates a gap when the AOR approver is assigned based on Hiring managers details when the requisition may be for another department. Is it possible to assign the AOR based on the requisition details instead of Recruiter or Hiring manager's details?
