Combining Interview and Invitation email

I've got a situation where the current process involved the candidate being sent a 2nd pass application form as an attachment to the interview confirmation email. With the way the new additional form invitations are working, it looks like there's no way around the need for 2 separate emails being sent to the candidate. Has anyone had this situation and experimented with any potential solutions?
