Assign system as process and report owner

edited Oct 23, 2018 7:16PM in Human Capital Management 3 comments

Summary

run processes and reports under a system utility

Content

We need to have certain processes and reports show the system as the owner instead of the user who kicked of the process or report.

For example, if a user creates an automated process to run daily and that automated process results in updating an employee’s record, it appears that the user updated the employees record and not the automated process. Since the system updated the employees record and not the user who scheduled the process, we need to show that the system updated the employees record.

Does anyone have any ideas how we can make this work? We have SSO for our production environment, so we are not able to log in as a different user.

Howdy, Stranger!
