There was a recent query asking why FYI Notifications were not able to be delegated based on vacation rules. In this case, the customer had created vacation rules to delegate approval notifications assigned to Approver A to a different User B. However, the FYI notifications that have been set up to go to Approver A were expected also to be sent to User B based on the vacation rule setup. But this was not happening.

Tip

This has been confirmed as designed behavior from the BPM Infrastructure team as well. FYI Notifications do not fall under the purview of Vacation Rules delegation.
