We are reviewing the OOTB cloud ERP operational reports (BI Publisher) with client and what they really like is ability to export output in CSV format. However challenge with that is it is more of data dump and includes 100+ columns in the CSV output file. So wanted to check if we have seen a similar requests either in cloud ERP/HCM projects where client wants to limit the columns included in OOTB CSV export format by modifying the data model or creating the etext template with comma as a separator.

 

Are there any known guidelines/best practices/watch outs that we can should consider.
