Summary

I want to move my oracle DB from VM to container based solution. Our existing solution uses Openshift for containerization.

Content

Hi Team,

Current situation:

I have my Oracle DB installed on private VM right now.

Expected situation:

Use a containerized solution to move Oracle DB to cloud using private cpoud + openshift or by using Oracle Cloud.

Explaination:

I want to shift my Oracle DB from VM to Openshift containers. For that I am looking for an optimal solution, I did some research and found that Oracle DB dockerized version is already present for oracle version 12C  as a solution but this solution have its own limitations. I am looking toward Oracle cloud as one of the option but not sure about how it can solve my problem. Does oracle support containerization approach?

Howdy, Stranger!
