EPBCS - ASO GUI Rule is running for a long time

Hi,

 

We have created a Clear Rule in ASO Reporting Cube using GUI. It's taking 44 mins to clear targeted data for 1 Year but takes the same amount of time even when there's no data. Is there a particular reason for this behavior or is this unexpected?

 

In addition to that, the same data gets cleared in 5 mins when cleared using a ClearCube job.

But the reason we want to use Calc Manager Rule instead if Job is that we want to use RTPs for Scenario and Years.

 

Is there a better way to handle this?
