Tracking non-financial information related to a chart of account segment for reporting with GL Balan

Does anyone have recommendations for storing non-financial information related to a chart of account segment and related GL Balance?

We have some non-financial information we'd like to track related to one of our Chart of Account segments so we can create reports with this key information along with the balance.  Example: stated interest rate, maturity date, max loan amount type of static fields that we could then pull into a balance rollforward report.

We have considered the Chart of account DFF field but wanted to reach out to see if there were any other Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials suggestions others have found useful.
