Daily rolling 7-day averages?

Is it possible to create a report showing prior 7-day rolling averages for a metric, by Day?

Hello - I'd like to create a report that presents a daily rolling 7-day average of our survey results.  I can't wrap my head around how to capture that in an ongoing report that presents this data by day for (say) the past 30 days.

Any suggestions?  I'm basically envisioning something like this, and just can't think of a way to calculate the prior 7 days' average, for each day.
